In the fall of 2015, a small deer showed up for a little bit and seem unfazed by our presence. I think it's a doe. It would much on the plants a little bit then head back into the woods. I last tried to approach it in the late winter/early spring of 2016, and it ran away, though I still got closer than a normal deer. I guess it's back to being wild.

Angel, Oreo, and Tiger check out something interesting in the yard. Taken sometime in 2011 (I think).
Angel finds a friend. Sometime in 2011 (I think).
Tiger. Around 2003 I think.

Tiger & Oreo. Mid 2000s.
Here's an image of Victoria taken on Jan. 6, 2001. It was a timed exposure of about 13 seconds while we wrote her name in the air with a red flashlight. In fact, Victoria fired and locked the shutter in place, then ran and got into the picture.
Here's another image of Victoria taken on Jan. 6, 2001. It was a timed exposure of about 10 seconds while I outlined her body with a sparkler. Again, Victoria fired and locked the shutter in place, then ran and got into the picture.
This is an image of "Kelly" posing with my niece, Toni.
"Velcro", my cat in college, poses under a lamp on my desk.
The nut you see hanging from the cliff is me, during the fall of 1988. The location was Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina. For those of you familiar with the park, my friend and I crossed the swinging bridge and just kept going.
This is my nephew Chuck in a timed exposure I did one "creative" night. I used a star effect filter on the candles, and that's a Ouija board in front of him. My sister hates this picture because she thinks it looks too much like devil worshiping. To set everyone's mind at ease, this photo was totally staged and we were not giving any sort of praise to Satan. We did however, speak to Elvis. :)
Here's another spooky shot for you. It's a timed exposure (of a few seconds) of my wife and a lighted Jack-o-lantern. Taken during Halloween of 1994.
Here's an image of just the jack-o-lantern. I created the black background with a sheet. The two "eyes" you see are dual candles inside. I didn't really know where to put this image since it's not really a "Pets & People" object.
